Thank you for your reply, indeed that is my point, how can I disable this conversion ? The point is if
all formats DTS , Dolby etc. get scaled down.. suppose I dont want to apply any filters at all and play
"Pure audio" as source then what is the option ?

I was able to reproduce the problem and bring an alternate, i have exactly same setup win 7 x 64 outgoing to onkyo over spdif.
