when I search for Sharpen in VLC preferences, I do NOT get a check box. Instead I show a box with a value of 0.05 in it. Any ideas?

Why would a video that I downloaded from Vimeo using Video Download Helper (add-in for Firefox) be able to be played in Windows Media Player v12.xxx but when I play it in VLC v2.2.4 the audio is fine but the video is just a black screen?

when I try to play some mp4 files I recently downloaded from vimeo, VLC shows a black screen while the audio is playing. This just started happening this past week. I've tried the OLD solution of unchecking Accelerated video output but this did not fix the problem.

I have an .mp4 video file I created by using camtasia to screen capture a webinar. The problem I have is that the audio and video are not in sync.
