Re: Hotkeys won't work

The letter in between e and g isn't working on my keyboard. I'll substitute it with * In Pre*erences>Hotkeys, there's no option *or the hotkey to hide/show the playlist. Is it possible to set a global hotkey to show/hide the playlist in Windows using the command line? In Linux is it? vlc --key-playl...

Re: Your input can't be opened

It appears this isn't a Linux only problem. Under Windows I had VLC 1.0.1 installed. Under Linux it's 1.1.10. I've upgraded the Windows version to 1.1.10.

Both OS versions of 1.1.10 aren't able to play streams in this format:
"iptv://@..."

This stream format works under VLC 1.0.1.

After this third time I can close the playlist with the mouse. Pressing the hotkey again will show the playlist but it cannot close using ...

UDP multicast, packet loss & ts discontinuity

My ISP made some change to their IPTV (UDP multicast/h264) around January and it's no longer compatible with VLC 0.8.6. VLC 0.8.6 happened to be the version I was using when IPTV last worked. At the moment IPTV streams pixellate afer every several seconds while a slight pause in the audio occurs les...
