Got the log
Here is the subtitle related error:
[02660684] freetype spu text debug: Using 微软雅黑 as font from file (null)
[02660684] freetype spu text error: failed to load font file (null)

Every chinese font will result the same error, Is it freetype's problem?
How do avoid it?

And font name is:
Microsoft YaHei

Actually most system build in(win7) chinese font doesn't work.

However those fonts were working fine in old version.

I updated vlc 1.1.10 recently. I noticed 1.1.10 can't get chinese subtitle working no more. In old vlc version, set up font and code page will get chinese subtitle working. But in 1.1.10, I changed almost every settings still can't get it work. Many chinese users has experienced the same problem. If...
