I pretty much assumed that. But why doesn't VLC Media Player give me the option to send the single audio channel to both speakers???

This needs to be an easily adjustable option in the Preferences list

I'm using VLC media player 1.1.10. Someone please tell me how to set the default directory folder on my hard drive, so when I go to open a video file it will automatically open the same directory every time. I've searched high and low, and I guess I'm just missing it somehow. Thanks!

I know there is a way to save equalizer settings in the tools menu. But why can't we have a simple button in the equalizer itself to allow us to save settings with a unique name we can designate? It would be SO much easier.
