It's pretty said since half of my playlist are midi files (from old games etc). Meaning I can no longer upgrade VLC

VLC 2.1.1 removed Midi support (no fluidsynth in the options as well). Downgrading ...

I have the same problem on Windows 7.
There apparently is no MIDI decoder anymore
It was there before I updated.

Okay, I got a solution. It seems as if my ASUS Hotkey program wasn't sending an actual key. Now that I've downloaded a program called "Asus notebook keys" I am able to change the Fn+Arraow keys to actual Multimedia Keys, which now are working in VLC by default (= I did not change anything ...

I read somewhere that I would have to add the keys in the hotkey-settings of VLC.
However, the program seems to not recognize my keys.(How) can I solve this Problem?
