I'm able to play almost any kind of file, EXCEPT yuv... it's really weird!, i refuse to believe that i'm the only one with this problem!

Hi!, I've got some videos sequences in yuv (uncompressed) format that i'd like to play using VLC. When i try to do so, the result is a fuzzy video with lots of coloured lines "floating" around. Does anybody know what the problem is?, am i missing something (like a codec)?. Thanks in advanc...
