Usually, TV programmes got both DVB-S and Teletext subtitles. I suppose they match, respectively, VLC's DVB and T-140. But both of them are lost after conversion.

Has anyone tried again with the last version ov VLC. I supposed it was able (finally!) to save TV subtitles as it shows also the DVB-S or T.140 option. But every attempts I've made to convert videos preserving the original subtitles has failed so far...
