I am not sure what I really need. This is my problem: I try to connect to a real time webcam which requires the VLC 2.0.1 (I have it already) and the webcam operator recommends to download the Latest version of the source code which (according to him) is in this page http://www.videolan.org/vlc/down...

This is a Bitzipper file, how can I unzip it if I don't have the Bitzipper?

When I installed the latest version off vlc I chose to install the Mozilla Firefox add-on.
Now I would like to uninstall it so the Mozilla will use the default by every site I visit media player.
How is it possible?

I can't find the move "Fast Forward" and the "Slow Motion" buttons.
Aren't those functions available with the latest version?

how is it possible to play it with VLC instead on the standard window of my browser?

"Let the video scale to fit a given window or fullscreen."

Hi, I run the 1.1.11 version and I would like to know if there is a setting/option I can chose so every time I watch a video stored in my disk, VLC will automaticly resize to the dimensions/resolution of my screen. Now some videos have different resolution than my screen and when VLC starts its wind...

This is the question.

I have the "http://...." link to the streaming video, I can watch it on the webcasters web site but how can I watch it with the VLC MP?
What kind of settings are needed?
