Steam IM in Windows 7 Lowers VLC's Volume?
Everytime I get an IM in Steam, VLC's volume within Windows gets lowered. It goes down, up, down, up, and finally down. It does it after every IM. It looks like this:

Automatic Video Skip to Certain Point?
Is there a way to set VLC to skip to a certain part in a video? I have a series of videos Im going to use with VLC, but they have a long intro and I'd like to view them in a playlist continuously and have VLC skip to a certain point at the start of each video. Is this possible?
