I made a log, but it's much to large to put in a comment, and I cannot even begin to understand what pastebin.com is all about or how to use it. The issue may have to do with the size of the video, or the resolution of the image. It did make a screen shot of an avi which was running at 860 x 482, cr...

Crashes when taking screen shot.

Just downloaded the latest version, 3.0.12 Vetenari, and it crashes when taking a snapshot. Using Windows 7 Home Professional. Video resumes at crashes position when restarted.

If you move mouse to edge of player drag it back to being small is what i do then close and reopen vlc
