2.1.3 does not detect existing and working audio driver

Dear all, On Win7 I use a USB video adapter (Targa Silvercrest SVG 2.0A1). It comes with the video editing software CyberLink PowerDirector. I connect a Peritel (SCART) output to the adapter, and in PowerDirector I have image and sound. The audio device is listed as AF9035. But with VLC 2.1.3, I get...

Re: Bad video

Chère Hôtesse (!), same problem here with a laptop Medion 1.8 GHz, 2 Gb RAM, running WinXP SP3. VLC 1.11 has always rendered fine any video format, including .wmv and .mov. But many problems with VLC 2.0, video is either jerky, or freezes, or gets "scottish kilt". Concern is, I tried all f...

Re: Frame by frame skipping

Jimeagle, do you have the problem just with .flv files, or with other video files too? Are you sure your .flv files are "clean" (are complete, did not suffer drops when downloading...)? If you need to navigate into video files, have you considered first converting them into a more user-fri...

New BDA screws-up VLC picture

Dear all, I use VLC 1.1.4 on WinXP SP3, for playing a video signal coming from a USB video grabber. This device appears as USB 2863 Device, and works very well. As I want to use also a PCTV 320e USB TNT tuner, I installed its BDA latest driver. Problem is, this installation screws-up the video-grabb...
