Re: FFmpeg video codec 1 playback issues

you can try to change under preferences->video->input/codecs->video codecs->ffmpeg->threads:
change from 0 to something less than the number of processor/threads that you have.

Re: vlc 4.0.0?

Are the nightly build 4.0.0 supposed to have everything that is in the 3.0.0 release ?
I am asking that because HDR10 seems to be working for me in 3.0.0 but not in 4.0.0 nightly windows build.

Re: Audio out of sync after fast-forward on latest nightly

Flushing the buffers works fine here. If the problem still occurs with builds from March 13th onward, consider filing a bug with full debug logs. I have just tried it with the build: vlc-2.2.0-git-20140315-0402-win64.exe After you fast-forward / skip you get these warnings: core warning: early pict...

Re: Audio out of sync after fast-forward on latest nightly

So I just tried a new test (different hardware but same windows) on a notebook Lenovo T400s with also Win8.1 and the builtin speaker and it has the same problem. And delay that I mentioned in my first message was a bit exaggerated, it must be around 0.2 seconds. The way I did the test was to take a ...

I am running on Win8.1 with Creative Soundblaster ZxR, Cpu: I7-3770K

I will try to find a different machine and re-test it to see if it is something specific to just that machine.

Audio out of sync after fast-forward on latest nightly

On the latest nightly build after you fast-forward, the audio seems to be delayed. And it is cumulative, so if you click once fast-forward it is delayed 1s, after 10 fast-forward it would be 10s. The last build that is working fine for me is: vlc-2.2.0-git-20140203-0402-win64.exe And all the builds ...

Re: VLC 2.1.0 audio channel mapping incorrect for LF and RF.

The OS is Win7 64bit and my soundcard is an ASUS Xonar DX with 5.1 speaker.
It is working fine for me with VLC 2.0.4 version, it is only with VLC 2.1.0 that the Front channel speakers are put on the back speakers.

Thanks.

VLC 2.1.0 audio channel mapping incorrect for LF and RF.

Hi,
I have just noticed that with the latest build of VLC 2.1.0 the audio channel mapping are incorrect.
When playing an mkv with 5.1 audio the Left and Right Front channels are mapped to the Left and Right Rear channel.
Does this happen for anybody else ?

Thanks.

i have just tried the latest x64 nightly build (vlc-2.1.0-git-20120422-0403-win64.exe) and it can play fine my .tp generated from my Dvico FusionHDTV7 card. Could it be that the file association with .tp extension was removed on your machine ?
