Are you referring to an option in vlc preferences? I looked all over the advanced settings and can't find it.

Or are you referring to using windows or the keyboard settings? Where do I look?

Or are you referring to deactivating the keyboard media keys for all programs?

win7 64b vlc 1.1.6 I use the ms sound mixer to set the volumes between programs/system sounds/webpagtes/telephone etc. I use the master volume knob on my keyboard to control the entire system volume of those balanced levels. When using vlc, the master volume knob on my keyboard changes the vlc sound...
