Don't do that. It cannot work and therefore it never will work.

While streaming, the video on VLC is all black. If I connect to the server from another VLC, it plays through just fine. It's not a major problem, but if I'm trying to jump around a video, I have to blindly pick a spot, wait for the stream to catch up, and hope I was somewhere close. Another problem...
