With RTSP, this is almost systematically a firewall problem. What else can be? This error happens both when connected to the university wireless lan, and at my home. And, in my personal wireless net, I have no firewall. Same error on windows, linux, connected to the university lan or at my own lan....

I'm trying to listen to the webradio of my university at the link: rtsp://157.27.6.40/fan I'm experiecing the same problem on linux and windows, on vlc versions 1.1.4 and 1.1.7. VLC connects to the stream, that now and then stops for a second, and after a few minutes it stops....
