I've switched file association to another program that does it.

I have a large folder of video clips I want to quickly review. How do I delete the currently viewed file and proceed to the next please?

That’s what I would hope. But I’m sure I came to a dialog showing ALL enabled, with the only options being to disable ALL and then presumably set individually. Where is the option to KEEP?

Problem still seems to exist 3 years later. No option to simply 'Keep previous associations'.

I was updating to 3.01 but canceled out. It seems there's no way to simply keep whatever file associations I set up laboriously a few years ago. What am I missing please?

I thought so but maybe I was being clumsy, because I now appear to have got the hang of it thanks.

I have an MOV file open in VLC 2.2.4. I click the Record button, then the Play button and then hit Space to stop it, as the rest of the original is unwanted. But my recordings folder remains empty. I'm clearly doing something wrong or omitting some other step or setting. Any help would be appreciate...

If I take a snapshot of a 16:9 DVD menu with VLC 2.2.0-pre3 it has an AR of 5:4 (1.25).

Why is correct AR not preserved please?

Sorry, maybe it's a language problem, but I don't understand what you mean. Please clarify what you're advising me to do. It looks like you're telling me not to install (or re-install) VLC 2.1.3 (which I've already done) but to install the plug-in ? But that gets installed by enabling that option du...

TBH it's very subtle but could you try a v2.1.0 nightly build and report back if it occurs with this version as well ?

Where do I get that and how can I do so without losing 2.07?

Thanks, but 2.07 doesn't fix the problem. Here's a very small MP4 example. It plays correctly in all other players, finishing with an all black screen. I'm playing 1920 x 1080 MP4 files in VLC 2.0.6. But the final position displayed is a few frames before the end. (It's a zoom out to fully black so is easy to check.) The files play OK in all other players I've tried.

It's in Settings > Advanced Settings > Steam Output and you should find.
