Okay. I found it in "basic" preferences, but I'm still getting subtitles.

Which sub-setting is that in? I'm not finding a language for sub-titles in "all" preferences.

I'm running VLC version 1.1.7 on my Mac Mini (OS 10.6.6). I've ripped some DVD's using MakeMKV and when I play them with VLC, the subtitles are on by default. I know that I can turn them off manually each time by disabling them in the Video>Subtitles menu. However, I have to do this with each and ev...
