Please make VLC so that when Image Adjust is checked, it will not immediately change the settings. And add a feature that Image Adjust can be reset to the default so that it does not immediately change the settings.

I just tried using WMP and Movies and TV and the loud beeping does it with those players too, but not with MPC-HC, 5K Player, and Format Player. Sometimes the beeping will stop by simply re-playing the video with MPC-HC or another player. Maybe this thread should be transferred to the Windows section.

For example, if I play a file using Everything (a search program) the problem files will not play unless I click on something that makes a sound like clicking on a dock (via Winstep a dock program), which somehow releases whatever appears to be some sort of audio lock there is with the non DTS files.

Yes, my system is able to play 8k. It plays it on YouTube in 8k mode flawlessly. As I mentioned earlier, it will play smoothly in fullscreen with some other players. The one that displays in the best quality is MPC-HD (x64). I'm pretty sure it's something with VLC.
