Down loaded 0.9.8 and deleted preferances before starting the first time, seams to work ok on my g4 imac 10.4.11
only wished apple had built in usb 2 and bt 1.2, either upgradeable, boy is my overpriced computer getting 'old'.

I had to reset the preference default after installing, had no video either.

I have a G4 imac 10.4 VLC 9.6 and having the same problem. There must be a non-existent font issue, I hope. None of the Discovery Services work/show up, either.

The no video problem, I first had, was resolved by resetting the preferences defaults.

I am having the same problem streaming a feed from
http://telegasy4.rktmb.org:8000/telegasy.ogg
I get a couple of seconds of video then it stops, but the streaming of data continues as I watch the activity monitor app on Mac. I do not understand why there is no buffer.

Oh screw nsv, who needs a new format, I say boycott all M$ products and formats. Open Source IT. Where's the Theora?

NSV utilizes MP3 for audio and VP3 for video.

NSV does not work on Mac OS 10.4, VLC 0.8.4. I see you already started a topic on it. Hate to use M$ anything.

http://www.scvi.net/tvactivex.htm has plenty of video to view.
