Re: Disabling Multiple Instances.

I am using 1.1.11 of VLC. Previsouly it worked very well; I always got one instance. I am not sure what happened to cause it to open new instances; I don't think it was the update, at least not the only thing. My best guess is that I selected the "Enqueue items to playlist when in one instance...

Re: Timeshift with a growing TS file

What I'm trying to achieve with this is to be able to close VLC, open it to another screen located in another room and continue watching with just one click of a remote control. Since there is STILL no timing information read from TS streams in VLC, it would be great to have rc commands for seeking ...

Timeshift with a growing file - seeking in a TS stream

I've made a simple timeshift script using a growing file of saved TS stream coming from my TV card. One thing I'd really like to implement would be a function to automatically skip to realtime, which means a few seconds from the end of the file. Since VLC can't read timing information from TS stream...

Re: Vote on S60.com for VLC media player on (Nokia) Symbian

VLC for S60 would be full of win! :D Althought it wouldn't be just simply a "feature request" but rather whole a new release. I've been working on streaming TV-image over internet, and while it works on PC I've been unable to find any mobile applications for S60 able to receive avi streams...

Re: Restore the option to select display in the Clone filter

Linux, mainly. Let's think of a setup where you have computer in another room, and in the living room you have a TV as a second screen for the computer and a remote controller to control VLC, but no mouse. When you need to do something with the mouse/keyboard, like load subtitles from a file, it wou...

Re: VLC BUG - No time code processing for DVB-T .ts files

Does anyone know if there is a way to skip forward / backward based on a "relative" byte position from current playback ? (as a workaround). The bookmarks setting looks promising but positions are relative to beginning of file only. If we could skip forward / backward "x" number...

Restore the option to select display in the Clone filter

Some years ago VLC's clone filter had an option to select target display for the cloned picture, but it has been removed. Could it be implemented in the current VLC branch?

Another thing, there could be an option to select the display of the video window when not using embedded video.

Re: Using two separate X displays

Well, I "kind of" succeeded by piping the image to a second instance with the YUV output module - except that the image is jerky as hell and people have blue faces. And naturally the audio would need to be piped as well to avoid the delay between starting the video and opening th...

Using two separate X displays

I have a configuration with two separate X displays, which means I cannot move programs between my two screens (yes, this is the only sensible option for my setup and I'm not changing it). Is it possible to have controls in one display and the video on the other? And how about changing the video dis...
