Re: Customizable duration for the pop-up dialog box regarding "Resume from last position"

Yeah, I know that, but I'd rather prefer being asked individually, because from time to time I don't want to use this feature, and how I'm supposed to start a video easily from the beginning again using my remote control, when this option is set to "always auto-resume"? Come on, I don't th...

Customizable duration for the pop-up dialog box regarding "Resume from last position"

Hello, it would be great if you could add a customizable duration for the pop-up dialog box regarding "Resume from last position" with videos that have been played previously, as sometimes my remote control doesn't behave reliably and sends the simulated mouse click/hotkey to the button of...

Video tearing with v2.2.3

Hello, I'm using VLC media player from the command line with the following options: --fullscreen --overlay --video-on-top --vout directx --no-video-title-show --short-jump-size=20 --long-jump-size=160 --aout directx --volume=256 This worked fine in the past, until I installed v2.2.3 - with this vers...

Re: Auto Resume is not working

It is essential for me that "Resume from last position" does also work when the media player is started from the command line, because that is the way I'm particularly using it with the remote control in my media center environment! With v2.2.1 that was no problem, but afterwards you chang...

Re: Auto Resume is not working

Okay, I've noticed that you changed the behaviour in v2.2.2 regarding "Auto resume": in previous versions, it was also working when running VLC media player from a command line, e g.: "D:\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe testfile.avi", but in v2.2.2 the dialog box asking whether you would li...

Re: Auto Resume is not working

..and I've found another bug: When playing, stopping and replaying MPG (example: http://ftp.sunet.se/pub/tv+movies/warriors/warriors-700-VBR.mpg )or MPEG-2 files which I have recorded with a DVB-T capture card as a video stream, the resume position is not very accurate: sometimes it resumes from a p...

Re: Auto Resume is not working

I installed 2.2.1 yesterday but still the resume feature isn't working properly, if I open a video and quit vlc seconds into the video and reopen it won't resume to the last position, it only works if minutes pass by into the video, I hope you fix this. That's by design. It is intended to work that...

Re: Please add a customizable hotkey for "Resume from last position"

One way it works: 1. Start "VLC media player" 2. Play a video by selecting "Media" and "Open File" / pressing "Ctrl" and "O" 3. Exit "VLC media player" 4. Next time you play the same video by re-starting "VLC media player" and ope...
