Forward Error Correction

Postby smackers » 08 Mar 2012 13:22

Previously I was not able to view IPTV provided by my ISP, on all official VLC versions, as audio/video droputs made it unwatchable. I had to use a VLC that was patched by my ISP with FEC (Forward Error Correction).

Was FEC implemented under VLC 2.0? It seems to run IPTV nearly as good as the patched VLC.

Thanks.
