Recorded AVI Video not supported

I took a regular speed video and slowed it down in VLC.
Then, I captured the slowed-down video with the record button.
I can play that recorded video ONLY in VLC.
Other media players and especially, Pinnacle Studio 15, my post-editing program, where it is eventually going into, can't recognize it.
I'm kinda stuck here.

p.s. The original video (Which I recorded in the first place) IS supported by other media players and programs.
So It has something to do with VLC's recording. Maybe a codec? I don't know.
