vlc and wmp

I know you don´t like windows media player, but I have to resolve this question: is it possible to play with wmp a stream from vlc? I trying it but I don´t get it.

That's possible indeed. Choose DIV3 as video-codec, mp3 as audio-codec, MMSH as streaming-method and ASF as encapsulation format.

Yes, it works, thank you, I open it using http:// and I see it.
Another problem. I do it with an unicast stream but I can´t do it if I write a multicast address on the mmsh box.
Any idea? Is it possible?
