Difference between "video scaling factor" and "zoom video"

Postby jez9999 » 04 Mar 2012 13:21

Under Preferences -> All -> Video, there are settings called "video scaling factor" and "zoom video". My question is, what is the difference between these? For me, "zoom video" never seems to change anything, whereas "video scaling factor" actually controls the default zoom level whether or not "auto scaling" is enabled. So, what exactly is the purpose of "zoom video"?

According to the help they should do following

Code: Select all

--scale=<float> Video scaling factor Scaling factor used when Auto Scaling is disabled

Code: Select all

--zoom=<float> Zoom video You can zoom the video by the specified factor.
Does zoom work with z hotkey?
