Assign Hotkey to 'Loop from point A to point B' button?

VLC is my favorite movie player because it can almost do anything, except one thing in the hotkeys I didnt see anyway to assign a hotkey to the "Loop pt A to pt B" button feature.

Is there anyway to assign this feature to a keyboard key via editing or scripting?
