mpeg no sound when play in VLC Fedore Core 1

I have successfully install my VLC in Fedora Core 1. The mpeg movie plays fine except that it do not have sounds. Anyone has any idea regarding this?

I been googling and found that it might relate to faad2 but i did install that library as well. Any help is much more appreciated. Thankz in advance.
