choose input type

when one acquires from an external device, we should be able to choose the input type s-video or composite.
It's possible if we check "propriétés du périphérique" in the dshow mitre but it doesn't take effect in the vlcrc file...

it is possible to keep the same configuration for each time i want to acquire from my acquisition card?
