Seek bar issues while playing DVD?

Greetings,

I'm having an issue with the seek bar not working properly in DVDs. I click in the seek bar or drag it to a desired spot, but unfortunately it then jumps roughly 5+ minutes beyond that. This does not happen the video files themselves though.

Any idea what would cause this or how to fix it?
