Set the onscreen title via libVLC

Hi,

when playing back DVB-T content the onscreen title displayed is often like "dvb-t://" (the media location you have opened).
Is there a posibility to change the onscreen title by setting some metadata? Sometimes VLC automatically seems to display the "Now Playing" metadata but I have not found a way to have an impact on that?
