[Resolved] MKV subtitle displays in the middle of the screen

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

[Resolved] MKV subtitle displays in the middle of the screen

Postby Gemini » 01 Nov 2011 15:47

Hello,

when viewing an MKV video, the subtitles are always displayed in the middle of the screen, rather than at the bottom as expected. Would anyone have some clue about what can be done ?

I am using cvlc, controlled by its HTTP interface.

I use cvlc, without any graphical interface. However, I found another way : ffmpeg2theora, which tells me that it is ASS subtitles indeed.
