player freezes while seeking stream

Hello,
when i record the MMS stream from the Dance TV website (there are also other sites with the same problem), and play this stream later back in the vlc player, the player freezes when i move the position slider several time in serie.
I looks like the player is not able to demux the file fast enough and the he freezes.

most of the time i get errors in the audio part while recording.

i used the buidl in record button to record the stream, but i also got the problem with a libvlc based application. I tested this on mac and windows VLC Player latest version and the nightly buidl version of the 1.2 (in 1.2 the app crashes)
