Audio Problem over HDMI

Postby ghaghamashibaba » 16 Oct 2011 13:06

I am using the latest nightly build (10/16)

My surround channels are still getting mixed over HDMI but over a to slink cable everything is playing fine.
The only problem is that i can't get the video to my TV because the to slink and HDMI are on different channels on my receiver

You'll want to reset VLC's preferences. Afterwards, make sure that the "Use S/PDIF when available" option is checked in VLC's Audio preferences.

Note that VLC can only output audio via HDMI. Video output is untested so far.

Ah, and please update to VLC 1.1.12 instead of using a potentially unstable nightly build.
