VLC Direct not detecting media player
VLC Direct not detecting media player
I am trying to connect my ASUS Eee pad transformer to my win 7 comp using vlc direct to stream movies to my tablet. When I first start up it tells me I have to configure vlc media player with a web interface, and I follow the directions on screen. I hit start and it says no media player detected on network. I've tried and tried again, updating to the latest version of vlc and using the manual setup. Frustrated, I download vlc direct to my samsung vibrant and try again that way. Still no luck, so I assume it must be something on the computer I need to change. Any help with this problem is much appreciated. Thanks
