H.264 over http

Postby fkahhaleh » 30 Aug 2011 03:54

Hi,
I am hoping someone will be ablet to help me or guide me a to good start on this issue that I am facing.
I need to play the following URL:
http://server-ip/path/to/stream.extension
using DirectShow.

VLC plays it fine (great job VLC, I am still amazed how many files you can play without problems!) and the media
codec/information shows that stream 0 (video) is h.264 MPEG-4 (10) and audio is AAC if i recall correctly.

most H.246 filters I see out there are RTSP not HTTP.
Can anyone point me to the right direction? even if I am looking at writing my own directshow source filter.

Thanks
