play the same video in between videos

when you make a playlist and you want the same video to be played after each video even if its on shuffle or something how do you do it? so if you have videos a to z and want to have x play every other video it plays b then x then g then x then o then x etc.. can vlc do it?

I'd say this only works for in-order-playlists.. where you set up the repetition of x by hand:

• x
• b
• x
• c
• x
• .
• .
• .
• z
• x

Settings in preferences then:
tick 'Show Settings' [All]
tick [Repeat All]

it'd be a cool feature or plugin to do it automatically instead of tedious manual work but thanks anyway.
