Novice needing help

Hi Folks,

I'm pretty ignornat when it comes to computers. So if someone could help guide me I would be grateful.

Here is my question: I would like to play DVD's from the UK on my computer in the US. Would this software help me do that?

I'm interested in buying some videos that will never come to the US. In particular, I'm interested in the BBC series, Who Do You Think You Are?. I love the US series and the few videos that I can find of the British series are great.

I can buy the UK version on DVD, but they will not play on my US DVD player. If I can play them on my computer that would be great.
