Auto Audio-Stream selection does not work

Postby stoney » 13 May 2005 11:14

I have a system that gets a RTP stream from the network where MP3 files are streamed as well as AVI files. The problem is that the MP3-Files seem to have Audio coded on Track 2 and that switches Audio off when an MP3-Stream comes in. STrange is, that the VLC that generates the stream shows it as track 1 while the VLC recieving the stream shows it as Track 2.

Any solution/suggestion to this problem available?

VLC is 0.8.1 on both sides using Linux.

I've gone a bit more into this. If I start with recieving an MP3 stream all is well, THe Audio is on Track 1.
If I then get an AVI stream everything is fine as well.
But if I then get an MP3-Stream again, the Audio switches to Track 2 and no Audio anymore
