Audio cracking every few seconds

Postby Harry2o » 14 Jun 2011 00:19

Hi,

after a fresh Windows installation (Win7 SP1 64bit) I) also reinstalled VLC (1.1.10) into the same directory as the old one (yes, I use a different partition for installing programs).

Now I am having audio cracks (i.e. no audio for the fraction of a second) no matter which video file I play (h264 videos, divx videos, old WMVs) every few seconds which didn't appear before the reinstall (when I was using a slightly earlier VLC version, tho).

I already tried other than audio modules than setting it to Default, without success tho.
Increasing CPU priority doesn't help.

Any suggestions?

~Harry

Try other video output modules.
