Why vlc can not play rtsp streams in ipad?
Why is the different between vlc in pc and ipad so big?
I can not find a place to input a url when I use vlc in my ipad?

So, Applidium VLC app pulled from App store, but VLC for iOS seems to have same/similar structure and filenames + a mobile provision file.

Is this the same app or a cut down version of the Applidium VLC player?
So where are things with RTSP support for iOS?
Is this a deliberate decision to not provide support for this protocol on iOS devices?
Do iOS users have to go elsewhere for rtsp: support?

Installed through iTunes on an iphone, it played rtsp streams. Why would you say that rtsp was not compiled in?

The OP says he can't play RTSP streams, which is probably because he doesn't have the rtsp module.
