Problem with Dvd audio. Please Help

Postby BaldrickDK » 15 May 2011 04:40

Hey heres the problem

I've recently instaleed the latest vlc media player. Now it plays all media files on my hardrive fine with complete audio. However when I load in a dvd it plays only some of the audio. By some I mean it plays the background music and effects i.e. cars accelerating etc, but I cannot hear anybody talking. I have tried re installing, restarting and even changing the audio outputs but it makes no difference. I even tried changing to the 2nd audio track ( a director commentary) on which i could hear people speaking in between the commentary. Upon returning to the film audio track the audio returns to just music and no one talking. Any ideas?

Force the output to Stereo in the audio menu.
