file length doesn't match

Postby rewolo » 30 Apr 2011 12:27

Hi all, I've a problem

I've a video file (.mov) of 1.54 gb.
on the timeline is stated that's 5.58 minutes long, but if I play the file it continues till 7.15.

Is there a way to modify the properties of the file? I need that it’ll be recognized as 7.15 minutes long (including all the rest of the material) and not 5.58. that because vlc is the only program that “reads” even the rest, for final cut, quick time, … it’s only a 5.58 minutes file!

Thank you!

Davide

You probably need to modify VLC rather than the file...
