I've searched a while in several posts about controlling multiple VLC instances with one terminal, but did not find anything that could work properly AND with Windows.
So I need to record - in sync - 2 streams by clicking just one button.
This becomes more and more an issue with the upcoming 3D projects and other multiple camera shoots.
VLC performs very well in my application , recording to MP4, but the lack of one-click recording of both channels is hurting.
I have another program that can do this, but only records AVI type one and is useless with HD. VLC would make a big difference here.
At the same time, all other controls should be locked as well, so playback is also in sync, as well as scrubbing etc. Then again, in case adjusting is needed, a "simple" unlock button should allow for adjusting one time line, then locking again and playback from there.
All in all I am very impressed with VLC, it works very well and with hardly any issues, once it is setup properly.
That's why i just donated 50 euro for your efforts!
I hope someone can help me here or point me in the direction of the solution which might be buried in the thousands of posts in the forum.
