help my .avi files play as a mess of green n reD lines! somtimes they are blurry n at other times they r clear Distinct lines my frien playe the same movies on her computer using same program an they work fine but still play stupiD on mine

Be sure to reset your preferences to default. If it does not solve the problem, and the same video plays correctly with the same player version, then there is probably a bug in your video adapter drivers.
