Hi,
This is my second thread, i try to keep reading and getting used to VLC... it has a lot of features yet to discover.
My problem now comes when i try to keep a continued mpg2 file froma a streaming, i try to explain this...
im using VLC to capture from a Canopus Analog device, the ADVC 55. Then, i select the capture device, convert option, then MPG2 Codec, check the "show emission" under the browser line, then i select the path to the file: XXX.mpg.
When i click to convert... a file named and stored in the desired path starts to grow in size... until i stop the streaming.
My problem is that sometimes i need to stop the recording to the file and in a few minutes start again, adding the new video captured to the first part (the original file is getting larger). The funny thing comes when i play the final XXX.mpg file, in the same moments when i stoped the streaming with "STOP BUTTON" the image gets still, no sound for X minutes (the same minutes i stoped the streaming) and then it continues video and audio, this happends all the times i stop and play...
Its there any way to fix this? so the final video doesen't get the "void recordings" with no video and no sound in between?
Hope i can explain this acurate... coz my english is rusty...
Thanks in advance.
