Issue with using graphics equalizer

Postby darek » 31 Dec 2010 12:24

Hello VLC Team,

I'm seeing an issue when using graphics equalizer.

I can select a default media setting, adjust pre-amp level and levels corresponding to frequencies starting from 60 Hz up to 1 kHz, however adjusting levels for
higher frequencies i.e. 3 kHz up to 16 kHz sometimes does not work.

It seems like this issue appears when a media file is opened while another media file is being played. Restarting VLC can help with the issue, but in some cases
restarting VLC could not help, especially when the media file being opened just after restarting VLC is the same as that before restarting VLC when the issue started to occur.

I'm using VLC 1.1.5 The Luggage (Windows XP).

Regards,
Darek
