There are some existing filters http://git.videolan.org/?p=vlc.git;a=bl ... nterlace.c; that you could modify in case you want to test it out.P.S. If not, how complicated is VLC's deinterlacer API, and specifically which files would I want to look at? I don't have much free time, but I'm a programmer, and if it's fairly simple to glue in one of the working IVTC implementations (i.e. if both sides are modular enough), I might be interested in doing that myself. (That is, assuming you guys are accepting patches.)
Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for. I'll check it out (pun unintended). There are some existing filters http://git.videolan.org/?p=vlc.git;a=bl ... nterlace.c; that you could modify in case you want to test it out.

1.2.0 OS X gui more or less works now.
