How to automatically program two playlists

Postby LEDChannel » 01 Nov 2010 16:29

I'm currently using VLC Media Player for my LED screens. My client has given me 2 files to play: one of them will play from 6am to 12pm and the second one from 12pm to 6pm. Is there a way I can create two different playlists and configure them so that they will automatically play at a given time??

Please Help!

Are you using Windows? If so, it sounds like Windows Task Scheduler could be your answer. You can make a *.cmd file to start VLC playing a playlist, and set it as a program to run between the times you want.
