I would love it if VLC would play without any border

I sometimes play a picture in a picture. It sure would be nice if there were no borders at all.
I tried a screen shot, but only one of the two pictures playing was captured. The rest of the screen was black.

The control bar that shows up at the bottom of the screen when playing full screen should be replaced with translucent buttons that are visible only when a user moves the mouse.

Even is the player is not full screen, there still should be nothing showing but the video. Moving the mouse should cause the control bar to become visible again.
